This information 'proves' when and where an image was taken and
has many uses in such diverse fields as legal disputes, criminal
evidence (waste tipping, oil spill etc) and litigation prevention.
This
service was provided to Chevron-Texaco, who contracted us to photograph
the Southern Kazakhstan Pipeline and surrounding features so that
they had an indisputable series of dated images on record.
If
required for court production, unaltered imagery together with
the header file is burnt directly onto two CD's, one remains open
(working copy) and the other sealed (court production copy) and
is provided with a written statement.
G.P.S.
co-ordinates data can also be used to relate imagery directly
to a map where image coverage can be plotted, ensuring complete
coverage of the survey area.
