Aerial sports photography has its own unique set of problems. In order to fly within 1Km of an event, the aircraft operator needs to have a special flight notification from the CAA agreeing to the flight. This usually means gaining the permission of the organiser as well. This is vital when considering photographing at golf or tennis matches or horse racing events, where the aircraft noise may be an issue.
